Log into your SafariNow account, and click on the Establishment tab on the menu bar, then click 'Rooms' on the left-hand menu.
Adding a new room
Note: This would be used to add a room in a B&B, guest house, hotel, etc. Instructions on adding a unit (e.g. holiday home) start under the heading 'Adding a new unit' below.
1. Click the 'Add Room' button at the bottom of the page.
2. On the next page, you can fill in the relevant room details:
Helpful hints:
- 'Quantity of this room or unit' indicates how many of that room you have, e.g. 2 Double Standard Rooms.
- 'Maximum capacity' indicates how many guest (adults and children) can sleep in one room, e.g. 2 people.
3. Once the form is completed, click the Save button at the bottom of the page. You will immediately be taken to the Seasons & Rates page, so that you can fill in rates for your new room.
However, if you would like to continue adding more rooms first, you can return to the Rooms page, and follow from Step 1 again.
Adding a unit
Note: This would be used to add a whole unit, where there may be multiple rooms, but you want to rent them out all together, e.g. a house, apartment, holiday home, etc.
1. Click the 'Add Room' button at the bottom of the page.
2. On the next page, you can fill in the relevant room details:
Helpful hints:
- It's useful to name the unit 'House' or 'Apartment' etc., or to give it the same name as the listing, e.g. 'Seaside Holiday Home'.
- 'Quantity of this room or unit' indicates how many of that unit you have, e.g. 1 apartment.
- 'Maximum capacity' indicates how many guest (adults and children) can sleep in one unit, e.g. 8 people.
3. Once the form is completed, click the Save button at the bottom of the page. You will immediately be taken to the Seasons & Rates page, so that you can fill in rates for your new room.
However, if you would like to continue adding more rooms first, you can return to the Rooms page, and follow from Step 1 again.
Some important things to remember:
- By ensuring all information is correct and thoroughly filled in, you are giving the customer the best possible idea of what to expect.
